ABOUT PASTOR JONATHAN A. DAVID
Born into a Christian home, in a small village called Ojikpadala Egume, Kogi State in Nigeria, he is the 7th child born in a family of 8 children. Jonathan spent most of his life in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria where he obtained a Bachelors of Science, Major in Mathematics. He encountered God and gave his life to Jesus in 1991. He has been serving the Lord faithfully ever since and he later moved to the United States in 2003.
Pastor Jonathan David is the president and founder of the Glorious Praise Ministries and the senior pastor of Glorious Praise Christian Center. He is an ordained servant of God. He was officially ordained on 7th of April, 2002 by the House of Grace Ministries Incorporated, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, after several years of serving and training under the same ministry. As a true worshipper of the most high God he has recorded his first and second powerfully anointed Praise & Worship CDs which are currently available for sale.
A minister of the glorious Gospel of Christ, a man with a pastoral calling and a noted musician and multi-instrumentalist.
Pastor Jonathan is married to the most beautiful lady in the whole universe, Martina David, and now blessed with precious Daughters Stephanie Ojochenemi David and Princes Oma David.

Vision & Mission
A Ministry born out of fervent prayer and a clear vision from the Lord to go to the world and make disciples of all people and to further the Gospel of the Kingdom by:
Teaching and Equipping
In this arm we organize church seminars and program to teach the truth of God’s Word and the liberating Gospel of the Kingdom.
Glorious Praise Music
This arm puts together annual countrywide musical concert aimed at promoting unity in the body of Christ and a true worship of our God. This is a vision the Lord gave Pastor Jonathan in 2004 to gather the precious people of God together from all walks of life, from various denominations to the place of unity and corporate worship. To raise an annual alter of praise that carries the sweet savor of the sacrifice of praise, flowing constantly from the heart of God’s people to the throne room of the king of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
The Lord emphasized on Unity and Worship as his deepest expectation for his church which is the body of Christ. It was not easy taking the step of obedience towards this God-given vision considering the segregation that exists in the church today. I decided not to observe the wind as the Bible says: “he that observes the wind shall not sow…” Ecclesiastes 11:4.I and the Glorious Praise team believed in the vision, stepped out by faith to make his praise Glorious like in Psalm 66:2.
The glorious Praise Team comprises 21 men and women from various counties, cultures, backgrounds and churches coming together in Christ as their common ground.
